The Karen-016.jpg

'Blacktown' in the Mae La refugee camp, situated on the Thai/Burma border.

In 2002 his family, along with another 1,000 Karen people, were forced out of their homes by the SPDC and made to leave all their possessions.

His dream is to study medicine and eventually become a doctor so he can 'serve his people'.

He left Burma believing that he has a better chance of getting an education as a refugee in Thailand.
