Sorting fish for the Flemish Fish Auction in Oostende harbour, Belgium, which operates three days a week.

The Flemish Fish Auction operates auctions in the two Flemish fishing ports of Zeebrugge and Oostende. It brings together the supply and demand of fresh wild fish in order to obtain the best price for producers and buyers. This supply of fish is then sold over the internet in real-time.

Every year about 17 million kilograms of fish sold at these auctions find their way to consumers all over Europe.
