The Karen-023.jpg

Soldiers of the KNLA (Karen National Liberation Army) stationed at an outpost on the fringe of the Lep Per Her camp.

These outposts are situated at strategic points in order to protect the 700 inhabitants.

In previous years, the camp had been attacked and burned down by the SPDC who are only two hours walk away, so constant vigilance is needed.
