Along with the rising costs of fishing, the low price fishermen are paid for their catch is an issue that is threatening many of the E.U. fishing communities.

There is widespread anger and fear that vessels will have to be de-commissioned, fishermen’s jobs will be lost and the character of fishing ports changed forever.
